Traditional use
How bobinsana is traditionally used
In Peru's Ucayali region, Shipibo-Konibo and Mestizo plant specialists value bobinsana for strengthening body and spirit, traditionally to help support everyday well-being (Jauregui et al., 2011; Sanz-Biset & Cañigueral, 2011). The plant's spirit is described as "a woman whose beauty shines" (Jauregui et al., 2011).
Our ingredients are harvested with regenerative practices, so the forest that grows them stays whole.
Botanical records place bobinsana mainly in Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Colombia.
How to take
How to take bobinsana tincture
Shake well. Start with 2 drops under the tongue or in a little water, juice or tea. A little goes a long way: stay at the low end until you know how it suits you, or follow your healthcare provider's directions.
The suggested use is 2–5 drops under the tongue or in a beverage, or as directed by your healthcare provider. If you'd rather not taste it straight, a drink is the easier way. Effects vary from person to person and are often subtle.
Who it's for, and who shouldn't use it
Pure Heart is for adults. Don't use it if you're under 18, pregnant or nursing, or if you take any of the medications named in the warning below. Check with a healthcare professional before use if you take any medication at all, and stop if you notice any adverse reaction.
How to store it
Keep the cap closed and the bottle out of reach of children.

Why a liquid extract?
A liquid extract takes the brewing out of it. There's nothing to steep or strain: shake the bottle, then take 2–5 drops under the tongue or in a drink. Because it's concentrated at 40:1 (owner-stated), a little goes a long way, and the 1 fl oz bottle fits easily in a pocket or a travel bag. What's inside is simple to check: bobinsana inner bark extracted in distilled water, with cane alcohol added to preserve it. Because of that cane alcohol, it isn't alcohol-free.
